AICCM Environmental Guidelines

The Australian Institute for the Conservation of Cultural Material has published environmental guidelines for the care of cultural heritage collections in Australia. These guidelines provide a best practice level to which all collecting organisations in Australia should aim to meet.

The guidelines include:

  • temperature and relative humidity guidelines that promote and support sustainable practices
  • mould prevention
  • lending and borrowing cultural heritage objects
  • an extended resource list.

You can view the guidelines on the AICCM website.
